Somewhat of a Ruse

Laura Turner is grateful to be a governess to her younger cousins at Linwick Manor—a position that helps provide for her impoverished family. But when her oldest cousin missteps, Laura is reluctantly thrust into Society as her lady’s companion. When the charming man Laura encounters at a ball turns out to be the very gentleman intended for her cousin, Laura is forced to ignore her absurd hopes and enact a ruse that will lead Mr. Huntington to pursue her cousin instead.
