It is clear from the significant analysis of evidence old and some very new that Hitler's obsession with the Jews combined with general suspicion of Jews and Zionists among his British and American enemies created a no-win situation for Jews seeking to save their brethren from genocide. The result was a trap in which Jews found themselves: allied help could only support Hitler's notion that the Jews controlled the allies and wanted a world war while allied refusal to allow this only made the fate of the Jews more doomed. Unfortunately this book while written in English was not written by an English speaker and the prose is difficult to follow. Sentences are overly long with too many subordinate clauses; prepositions are not easily fitted to obvious nouns, and the writing is atrocious. A pity, since the analysis is excellent and convincing that nothing the allies would have done, had they been willing, would have saved Hitler's victims; nothing the Jews and/or Zionists could have done would have made any difference. In his war against the Jews Hitler was truly brilliant, as well as demonic. The final conclusion that needs to be drawn is this: Hitler would not have succeeded in his genocide without the active and passive support on both sides of the war. The culprit is no less than the generalized and respectable anti-semitism of western culture.
